Thirty Acres

5 Thirty Acres Ln. | John B. Clark House

John Bushnell Clark (1793-1872) and his family settled in Hudson in 1835. Clark, a farmer, was one of the first elected trustees of Hudson village and later served as an associate judge of the Court of Common Pleas for Summit County. Clark, an ardent abolitionist, had a hidden room under the first floor of a barn on his property, which is presumed to have been a hiding place on the Underground Railroad.
